World Famous Waikiki Beach, on the island of Oahu, with DiamondHead in the background is as bright, colorful and picturesque a location as you will find anywhere in Hawaii. A great spot for beginner surfers and tourists with it's long, slow rolling waves. It is almost always sunny and warm on the South or leeward side of all the islands where Waikiki is located. The Pink Hotel on the bottom left is another landmark in itself, the Royal Hawaiian. I have photographed this location many times now, but nothing quite as good and colorful as this. The clouds above Diamond Head gives an added dimension as well. This photo has always been a great seller. |
